Introduction and Tasting
Guests will enjoy tasting matcha while indulging in sweets and receive an explanation about matcha-related topics, including the equipment used during the experience.
Selecting Matcha Bowls
Participants will select their own matcha bowls.
Matcha Preparation Instruction
Instruction and practice on how to prepare matcha.
Hands-on Matcha Preparation
Participants will have the opportunity to prepare matcha themselves, enjoying it or serving it to friends. Staff will take instant photos (Cheki) as a gift during the experience.
Completion and Souvenir
Participants will receive a completion certificate and a can of matcha as gifts, with an exclusive opportunity to purchase a gallery set as a souvenir.

Matcha Preparation Experience Plan
Perfect for beginners to enjoy easily
- Private matcha preparation experience on traditional tatami mats
- Located near the serene Shinjuku Gyoen Garden in central Tokyo, an ideal experience for those traveling in the city
- Instructions available in English or Japanese
- Maximum of 4 participants allowed
- Each participant receives a 30g can of matcha as a gift
- Fee: ¥10,000 per person (tax included; free for children under 10, provided that there is at least one adult in the group)
- Exclusive purchase opportunity for matcha, tea ceremony equipment, and lacquerware for participants
